Wilderness Canoe Day-Trip on Raudna River

Canoeing is probably the best way to explore the wilderness of Soomaa National Park. This one day self-guided wilderness canoe trip gives you possibilies to explore several walking trails alonge the river, and experience typical landscapes of Soomaa – alluvial forest (Lemmjõe Nature Trail), floodplain meadows and peat-bog (Ingatsi Nature Trail).

Compared to our Halliste river one-day canoe trip, the Raudna river trip has less paddling and various optins for walking.

Meet: One day canoe trips on Raudna river start at 10 a.m. at Riisa Rantso Guesthouse in Soomaa National Park, if you come with your own car. We also offer transfer for clients who stay in Pärnu, pick up from your hotel at 9 a.m.

Departure:  Every day from May through September

Distance: 12 km on the river + 4 km forest trail and 3 km Peat-bog trail (if you wish so)

What to bring: You should wear comfortable clothes and footwear.

Group size: Minimum 2 persons

Price: 20 EUR / per person in Soomaa (40 EUR / per person with transfer from Pärnu). Includes equipment, instructions and map.
